Kathryn Joseph, C Duncan, and Sweaty Palms announced for Paisley Takeover!

The two-day event will include Live showcases, Music Workshops, Industry Seminars, Spoken Word and more!

The Scottish Alternative Music Awards (SAMA’s) shall return with their first event of 2019 alongside Renfrewshire Council and Paisley First to deliver another two-day showcase celebrating Scottish music, including an array of music business seminars and workshops across multiple Paisley venues. The festival will take place on the weekend of Friday 15th, and Saturday 16th March.

This year’s headliners will see the dreamscape, stylings of Mercury Prize nominee C Duncan, and the ever captivating magic of Kathryn Joseph take to the Arts Centre, with Sweaty Palms headlining newly added venue The Bungalow.

SAMA founder Richy Muirhead says:

I’m thrilled to be bringing the festival back - the town and people of Paisley really love their music so this style of event makes so much sense! Last year the festival was sadly disrupted by extreme weather issues, so we’re delighted to return with a bigger line-up and offering - we’re hosting an event in the newly renovated venue The Bungalow, and inviting more artists and music industry guests to Paisley. Roll on March!

The full programme for the two-day event will be announced on Tuesday 22nd January.
