SWAY

The four-piece Renfrewshire band have already carved their worth in the local scene using the past two years to hone their rhythmically high-octane live set to secure support slots with the likes of Catholic Action and The View, having played an array of Glasgow venues despite still being a relatively young band. Matching that with the release of their latest single To Be a Man towards the end of last year to provide a youth tinged social commentary backed by a barrage of addictive instrumentals and a chorus line destined for crowd roars, this is the clear evolution of a charismatic local band waiting to be heard!

Siobhan Wilson

Following the release of her album There Are No Saints over the Summer last year, this heartbreakingly ethereal musician has had countless radio plays and press coverage, and is entirely worth it for her unique blend of breathtaking vocals and understated use of words that makes for a haunting live set. Siobhan’s striking raw ability and classical training really speaks for itself during live performances and is not to be missed.

Pronto Mama

There’s no better way to end this evening than with a collective that has continually epitomised the charm and cultural identity of their hometown, weaving jazz sensibilities and captivating instrument and vocal use, bonded together by beloved chorus lines as the conductor in this six-piece orchestra whose traditional stylings make this unmissable, particularly since the release of their much anticipated debut album Any Joy, a mix of songs old and new can be expected to end proceedings in a blistering way.

This follows previously announced workshop hosted by disco-synth quartet The Vegan Leather, with more to be announced over the coming weeks.
