Aidan McIvor - Crossfire

The Froobz - Ur Mums Guide To Life

The Froobz bring out a raucous mix of 80’s post-punk and defiant lyricism in their sophomore cut ‘Ur Mums Guide To Life’. Kicking off with a stomping bass line, the track provides the hooks throughout. Its early days yet for this band, and they will no doubt thrive within the burgeoning punk scene in Scotland.

Heisk - Headstrong

The vibrant six-piece of Heist enchant with their expansive take on folk music, pulling together a winding yarn of crisp violin melodies with a steady drum beat backing it up. Heisk is a remarkable folk band that seamlessly blends tradition with contemporary jazz elements, creating a unique and vibrant sound. Their music reflects the beauty of Scottish folk traditions while simultaneously captivating modern audiences with a sleek modern production and dynamic changes in tempo.

JusHarry, K4CIE - New Place

The power duo of rapper JusHarry and DJ/Producer K4CIE have once again teamed up to create some of the smoothes beats coming out of Scotland right now. Having just featured at this years PITCH festival, the pair have become a formidable force. From the very beginning, “New Place" grabs your attention with its bubbling energy. And slick beats. The crystal clear production from K4CIE really shines in this track, featuring a combination of 808 basslines and hypnotic synths that create a captivating sonic landscape. JusHarry’s precision flows effortlessly over the track, showcasing their undeniable talent and skill.

Kirsten Adamson - Take Me As I Am

Having soaked up Nashville as a child spending time with her late father Stuart Adamson (Big Country), Kirsten Adamson has had music in her bones since birth. Continuing the family dynasty, Kirsten has been crafting her skills and releasing music since 2010. Coming off the back of her sophomore LP ‘Landing Places’, ‘Take Me As I Am’ is a tender ballad that sways and bends with each chord change and tearjerking slide guitar solo’s.

LOWT - Take It Right Back

Gearing up for his debut album set to release this year, Highlands-based DJ/Producer LOWT has been heating up clubs with his fiery beats. ‘Take It Right Back’ is a frenetic track that opens with immediate energy that refuses to let up. Having found previous success with the Count Clockwork moniker, LOWT is sure to continue to carve his place as a permanent figure in the scene.

Mark W. Georgsson - Gleði (Joy)

Combing elements of Nordic and Celtic folk music with tinges of 90’s alt-rock and Americana, Mark W. Georgsson has been perfecting his craft since his debut release in 2017. On this latest cut Gleoi (Joy), Georgsson builds from hushed lullaby verses before taking off into spacey alt-rock heaven. The track sways like a drunk waltz through a dive bar, think of Elliot Smith mixed with the louder parts of Wilco.

Theo Bleak - it’s not doing me any good

The everlasting, enchanting artist Theo Bleak has announced the first single for her next EP ‘Pain’, in the form of this dreamy grunge haze ‘it’s not doing me any good’. Coming ahead of the EP, due for a Halloween release, this track is a step into a new, but not unfamiliar, sonic landscape. Keeping the ruminative soft-pop shades, that appear in her previous work, in the undercurrent as the crushing guitars and angsty vocal hooks take to the forefront.

Yxng STUNNA, M2 ABZ, Big Nemz - DUUUK

An All star collaboration with some of Scotland hottest Drill Rap artist, led by Aberdeen/Nigerian Rapper Yxng STUNNA. With fellow MC’s M2 ABZ and Big Nemz trading bars with STUNNA the trio emit a vicious energy together. With the pounding beat backing them up the young artists fire off rhyme after rhyme in a demanding and assertive style.
